You Will Never Influence the World by Trying to Be Like It
I traveled a very atypical path, both personally and professionally. I studied advertising and communications at the University of Idaho. It was there I learned one of my greatest strenghts: Creativity. And from there, learning how to unlock creativity in others. I've always had a passion and an eye for design while learning basic design principles from co-workers over the years. I started with Photoshop all the way back to the CS2 days. As my career has progressed, one thing has stayed the same: I'm always looking to challenge myself and learn something new. So, I began learning (the long. hard, stupid way, as I like to say) how to code this past year.
Being an avid photographer, I take photos of almost everything with my iPhone 8 which end up on Instagram and use my Canon DSLR for other creative aspirations.
I’ve made it my goal to always be learning, grow my creativity and always ask why, sometimes more than once. And while it may be difficult to gague growth in these areas, I know if I'm able to look back at my past work and it makes me cringe a little, I must be doing something right.
